Forbes Small Engine Specialists is a family-owned business at 25 Union Street, Forbes NSW. The team respects your privacy and keeps things simple. This page explains what information the website collects, why, and what you can do about it.

What the team collects

When you fill in a quote request or contact form, or send a request through the website cart, the team receives the details you enter. That is usually your name, phone number, email address and message. No payments are taken through the website.

This information is only used to reply to you and prepare your quote. It is never sold to anyone.

Cookies and website analytics

Like most websites, this site uses cookies. These are small files saved in your browser.

Some cookies are needed for the site to work, such as keeping items in your cart. Others help the team understand how the website is used and improve local advertising:

  • Google Analytics shows which pages people visit and how they found the site. It does not tell the team who you are.
  • The Meta (Facebook) pixel helps measure Facebook and Instagram ads, and lets those ads reach people likely to be interested.
  • Google Ads helps measure Google ads and can show ads to people who have visited the site before.

Some pages also use tools from other providers, such as Google reCAPTCHA (to stop spam on the forms), the finance calculator and embedded YouTube videos. These may set their own cookies. Some of these providers, including Google and Meta, may store information outside Australia.

Opting out

You can still browse, call and request a quote if you turn cookies off. To opt out:

  • Block or clear cookies in your browser settings.
  • Install Google’s free Analytics opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • Adjust your Google ad settings at myadcenter.google.com.
  • Adjust your ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account under Ad Preferences.

Keeping your information safe

Your details are stored securely and only seen by the team members who need them.

Seeing or correcting your details

You can ask to see the information the team holds about you, or ask for it to be corrected or deleted, at any time.
